Turn Your House into a Home is a series designed to help you create a home you love to live in. If you’re tired of living in a chaotic house and want to reside in a home where everyone loves to be, then turn your house into a home and create a peaceful space with purpose and meaning… one step at a time!
You can begin this challenge at anytime, and while you can do it on your own, you may want to ask a friend to join in with you (sometimes it’s more fun that way). You don’t need anything to start, but access to a printer is helpful for the free printables available though out this series. The most important thing is for you to be honest with yourself throughout the series, or things won’t improve.
The challenges are listed below. Start at the top and work your way down. Some steps may take longer to accomplish than others, but this isn’t a race. Go through and complete each step before moving on. Be patient with yourself and take time to celebrate after each section you accomplish (maybe get your nails done, go out for coffee with a friend, take your hubby out on a hot date, or bake a cake for your kiddos for breakfast)!
A journal is highly recommended for you to take time to record your journey as you reflect on the challenges at the end of each blog post and continue your journey of turning your house into a home. Some challenges will be easy, and others will take more effort on your part, but if you commit to doing them, your house will become less chaotic as you learn more about yourself, your values, and the people you live with while creating a more peaceful home.
